Booking a photo booth in Denver

The highest-rated vendor in Denver is Casino Party USA - Denver, at 5.0 stars from 1,790 reviews.

Most photo booth companies travel to the event, so vendors based in Lakewood (4 mi), Sheridan (6 mi) and Golden (7 mi) will usually cover Denver too.

Prices in Denver are set by each vendor and vary with booth style, hours of coverage, and whether prints and props are included, so request quotes from more than one before booking your CO event.

Denver venues, from an ironworks to an aircraft hangar

Denver event rooms tend to come with firm rules about who caters and when the doors open, and the museums in particular are careful about outside equipment. Weather is the other variable. A clear summer morning can turn into an afternoon thunderstorm, so any outdoor booth plan needs an indoor fallback. Five venues that come up often:

  • Mile High StationWest Colfax, near Empower Field

Built in 1897 as part of an ironworks and on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985, it has hosted events since 2000 for 100 to 1,200 guests, with 550 seated across the main floor and mezzanine. Caterers and rental companies must come from its required lists, but other vendors, photo booths included, are only recommended. It sits beside the Broncos’ stadium, so check the home schedule before choosing a fall date.

  • The Brown Palace Hotel & SpaDowntown

Open since 1892 and built around Frank E. Edbrooke’s eight story atrium. The Grand Ballroom takes 480 for a reception or 400 for a banquet. Catering is in house and the hotel does not publish rules for outside vendors, so confirm booth placement and load in with the events team first.

  • Denver Museum of Nature & ScienceCity Park

The Leprino Family Atrium rises four levels and takes 550 for a reception, and the Southeast Atrium 600. The rules matter here: no outside audiovisual equipment, rentals only through the museum’s rental partner, evening events between 6pm and 11pm, and removal immediately after the event. Get written confirmation of whether a photo booth counts as AV before booking one.

  • Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space MuseumLowry

A 44,000 sq ft hangar on the former Lowry Air Force Base, seating 1,200 or holding 3,500 standing among the museum’s aircraft. Caterers come from a required list, every event needs insurance, and setup is capped at three hours before the event with two hours to tear down. A large 360 platform has room here that it rarely gets elsewhere.

  • Denver Botanic GardensYork Street, near Cheesman Park

Twenty four acres at 1007 York St., with Mitchell Hall taking 300 for a seated reception or 550 standing. Catering comes from a preferred and approved list, and every vendor needs a certificate of insurance. Setup and cleanup have to fit inside the paid rental time, so book booth hours that leave room for both.

Denver based wedding planners

Many Colorado wedding planners work out of Boulder or the mountain towns and treat Denver as one stop among many. Two established firms based in Denver itself:

  • Cloud 9 Weddings & Papers

Founded in 2002 and based on Santa Fe Drive in the Art District, pairing wedding planning and design with letterpress invitations, with more than 400 weddings behind it. Brittany Cook has owned the firm since 2019.

  • The Nouveau Romantics

A Denver planning and design studio led by founder Elizabeth McKellar, who has planned weddings since 2010. It takes a limited number of full service weddings each year, in Colorado and at destinations abroad.

Every Denver vendor that names a style runs a 360

Share of the 14 Denver vendors listing each style. Vendors commonly run more than one, so these do not sum to 100%.

Denver’s booth market is almost entirely 360. Eighteen vendors list the city, seven name a style, and all seven list a 360 platform. Two of those also list roaming units, and just one each lists glam or open air.

That makes Denver a harder place than most to book a classic setup. Nobody in the city data lists an enclosed cabin or a mirror booth, and glam and open air come down to a single vendor each. If the style matters, contact those vendors early or widen the search to Littleton, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins, which have five, six and seven vendors of their own.

Eleven listings name no style: four photo booth companies that do not list their hardware, three DJ companies, two party rental firms, a photographer and a casino party company. Several of them advertise prints or props, so a missing style does not mean a 360 only operation. Ask what they actually bring.

Denver rates, from print booths to 360 platforms

In Denver the headline number depends mostly on whether you want prints or a 360. Travel is the other variable in a metro that stretches from Boulder to Castle Rock: local vendors typically include delivery within 20 to 25 miles and charge by the mile beyond that. Published local ranges:

Digital only booth
$425 to $600
No print setups, from a day rate near $425 to about $600 for four hours.
Print or open air booth
$600 to $900
Three to four hours with prints and an attendant.
360 booth
$999 to $1,400
Two hour packages open just under $1,000, and three hours runs about $1,200 to $1,400.
Mirror or enclosed booth
About $1,500
Three hour packages on Colorado rate cards. With no Denver listing offering either style, expect a travel fee on top.
Extra hours and upgrades
$100 to $200 an hour
A black and white glam upgrade adds about $400 to $500, and custom backdrops start near $300.

Individual vendors do not publish rates in our listing data. These are market ranges compiled from published Denver price guides. Use them to set a budget, then confirm against real quotes.

Snow in March, hail in June and a packed fall

Denver’s weather sets the calendar. March brings the city’s heaviest snow, early summer brings hail, and July and August afternoons build thunderstorms, which leaves September and early October as the most dependable window for anything outdoors. January draws its own crowd, thanks to the Stock Show.

  • Stock ShowJanuary

The National Western Stock Show runs January 9 to 24, 2027, after a record 750,039 visitors in 2026. Plan January corporate events and hotel blocks with those 16 days in mind.

  • Snow seasonMarch to April

March is Denver’s snowiest month, averaging 8.8 inches, and single storms have dropped more than 30 inches. Spring events need a snow plan and a vendor postponement policy in writing.

  • Hail and stormsMid April to mid August

Hail season peaks in June, and summer afternoons often turn stormy. Keep outdoor booths close to cover and ask when the venue makes its weather call. The natural history museum calls its Sky Terrace at 2pm.

  • Fall peakSeptember to October

The most settled weather of the year, and October is the most popular wedding month nationally. It overlaps Broncos home games (September 20 and 27 and October 15 in 2026) and the Great American Beer Festival on October 10 and 11. Book 9 to 12 months out.

  • Quieter monthsNovember to February

Outside the Stock Show and holiday parties, typically the slowest stretch for weddings and the easiest time to get a first choice vendor and date.

Up and down the Front Range

Denver vendors drive the Front Range as a matter of routine, and most publish a free radius of 20 to 25 miles before a per mile charge starts. That covers most of the metro, but not Boulder, Castle Rock or Colorado Springs. Where they travel most:

  • Littleton, About 11 miles south, with five vendors of its own and Hudson Gardens, a 30 acre garden and event center on South Santa Fe Drive.
  • Aurora, About 10 miles east, home to the Gaylord Rockies resort and its 485,000 sq ft of convention space.
  • Golden, About 15 miles west at the edge of the foothills, where Coors has brewed since 1873.
  • Castle Rock, About 30 miles south, likely past the free travel radius, and home to the Starlighting celebration the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
  • Colorado Springs, About 69 miles down I-25, with six vendors of its own and The Broadmoor, open since 1918. Hiring locally there usually beats paying Denver travel rates.
