What is an enclosed photo booth?
An enclosed photo booth puts walls or a curtain between the guests and the room. Inside is a camera, a screen, a light, and a bench or standing room for two to four people; outside is a curtain, a fabric shell, or a hard-sided pod.
Privacy changes what people do. Guests who would never pull a face in the middle of a reception will do it behind a curtain, which is why enclosed booths tend to produce the loosest, funniest photos of any style.
The classic output matches the classic form: a vertical strip of three or four frames, usually printed twice so one copy goes home with the guest and one goes into the host’s guest book.

How many people fit in an enclosed photo booth?
Two to four is typical, though some larger pods take five or six standing. If big group shots matter more to you than privacy, an open air setup will serve the room better.
Why does an enclosed booth take longer to set up?
It is more equipment and more labor. The enclosure has to be assembled and disassembled on site, which is why vendors ask for a longer load-in window and why venue access rules matter more with this style than any other.
Do enclosed booths still print strips?
Yes. The vertical strip is the format most associated with this style, and most vendors print two copies of each session so one can go into a guest book.
