Miami venues, and the vendor lists behind them
Miami’s signature event venues are historic estates on the water, and they are run tightly. Some of the most photographed properties in the city only permit vendors from their own approved lists, so the first question for a booth company is not the price but whether they are allowed through the gate. Five venues and what each means for a booth:
- Vizcaya Museum & GardensCoconut Grove
James Deering’s bayfront villa, built between 1914 and 1922 and now a National Historic Landmark. Evening events seat up to 300 on the East Terrace, with no exceptions, or 100 inside the Main House. Only vendors on Vizcaya’s approved list receive a permit, and terrace setup cannot start before 3pm.
- The Biltmore HotelCoral Gables
Opened in 1926 and a National Historic Landmark, with more than 75,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor function space across three ballrooms, courtyards and lawns, and events for up to 1,000. With that many rooms in play, settle which one the booth goes in, and whether it moves between cocktail hour and reception, before you take the quote.
- Deering EstateSouth Miami-Dade, on Biscayne Bay
About 460 acres on the National Register, with the 1922 Stone House and the 1896 Richmond Cottage. The grounds take up to 1,000 outdoors and the Grand Lawn seats 500, while the Stone House holds 150 for cocktails. Mostly an outdoor venue, so power and cover for the booth need planning from the start.
- The Temple HouseSouth Beach
An L. Murray Dixon Art Deco building that became a synagogue in 1942 and reopened as an event space after a 2003 renovation. 16,350 sq ft for up to 500 guests, ceilings over 20 feet, and 360 degree projection mapping on the walls. With the room already doing the visual work, a branded or 360 booth fits better than a printed backdrop.
- Villa WoodbineCoconut Grove
A Mediterranean Revival estate on South Bayshore Drive seating 225 (300 maximum), with dancing in the loggia and an 11pm curfew. Catering is Bill Hansen only, but the venue explicitly allows outside photo booth companies, which makes it one of the simpler estates in Miami to bring one into.
Miami planners for weddings, quinces and corporate groups
Miami planning covers three quite different markets: luxury weddings, large family celebrations like quinceañeras, and corporate groups flying in. One established firm from each:
- Masi Events
Founded in 2008 by Jessica and Michael Masi, planning and designing luxury weddings across Miami and Palm Beach, with more than 300 weddings behind them.
- Cortez Event Agency
A Doral firm founded in 2016, planning weddings, quinceañeras, children’s parties and corporate events.
- Advantage Destination & Meeting Services
A destination management company established in 1998 and based in North Miami Beach, handling transportation, event design and full program management for corporate groups.
Half of Miami’s listings never name a booth style
Share of the 35 Miami vendors listing each style. Vendors commonly run more than one, so these do not sum to 100%.

360 platforms lead in Miami, but by a smaller margin than in most big markets: 16 of 43 vendors list one. Glam is a strong second with ten and open air third with six. Enclosed cabins (three vendors), mirror and roaming (one each) make up the rest.
The bigger story is the half of the market that names no style at all. Twenty one of Miami’s 43 listings are silent on hardware, and the vendor pool is unusually mixed: party equipment rental companies, photographers, DJs and even a balloon shop carry booths alongside the dedicated operators. Those businesses often rent a booth as one item in a larger party package, so ask exactly which unit you are getting and whether an attendant comes with it.
If you want a glam booth, ten local vendors is enough to compare genuine quotes. Past glam, choice narrows fast, and a mirror or roaming booth in Miami means working with the single vendor who lists one or hiring from Broward.
Miami and South Florida booth rates
South Florida booth pricing spans a wide range, and the top of it is higher than in most of the country, pulled up by luxury weddings, glam demand and a busy season that lines up with the tourist calendar. Some Miami vendors state outright that rates rise in peak months. Published local figures:
- Basic package
- $400 to $600
- Two to three hours of an open air or print booth with an attendant. The entry level for South Florida.
- Two hour premium booth
- $595 to $900
- Published Miami rates for two hours of a 360, print or glam booth, with setup and an attendant included across Miami-Dade and Broward.
- Four hour reception
- $800 to $1,450
- Full reception coverage. 360 packages sit toward the lower end and glam booths toward the top.
- Extra hours
- $75 to $200 each
- Overtime rates vary more here than most places, so get the hourly figure in writing if your event might run long.
- Robotic glam rigs
- from about $6,700
- The very top of the Miami market: a three hour booking with a robotic camera arm, priced more like a video production than a booth.

Dry season, Art Basel and the storm months
Miami’s event season runs opposite to most of the country. The dry months from November to April carry the calendar, while summer brings daily rain, the softest rates of the year, and hurricane season.
- Peak seasonDecember to March
Dry weather, snowbird season and the highest demand and prices of the year. Book 9 to 12 months ahead for a Saturday.
- Art Basel weekEarly December
Art Basel Miami Beach and its satellite fairs fill the city with brand activations and parties that draw on the same vendor pool. Book early for any event in the first week of December.
- Value monthsNovember and April
Still dry, with better availability and more room to negotiate than midwinter. Both sit inside the busiest stretches for quinceañeras, so do not leave them late.
- Rain and hurricane seasonMid May to November
The rainy season runs mid May to mid October and hurricane season from June 1 to November 30, peaking in September. The cheapest time to book, but only for an indoor venue, and ask every vendor about their weather rescheduling policy.
From Miami Beach up into Broward
Miami booth companies commonly quote Miami-Dade and Broward as one service area. The places they travel most:
- Miami Beach, Across the causeways, about 8 miles from downtown. The Temple House and the Art Basel calendar sit here.
- Coral Gables, Around 7 miles southwest, home to the Biltmore and a steady share of the city’s formal weddings.
- Hialeah, About 11 miles northwest, with six booth vendors listed, one of the larger markets next to Miami itself.
- Doral, About 15 miles west near the airport, with party and event companies of its own.
- Fort Lauderdale, Around 30 miles north in Broward County, with nine vendors of its own, five of them running 360 platforms.
